An anonymous reader writes with a bit from Groklaw: "The remarkable outpouring of support for Google in the Oracle v. Google appeal continues, with a group of well-known innovators, start-ups, and those who fund them — innovators like Ray Ozzie, Tim O'Reilly, Mitch Kapor, Dan Bricklin, and Esther Dyson — standing with [Thursday's] group of leading computer scientists in telling the court that Oracle's attempt to copyright its Java APIs would be damaging to innovation." As usual, Groklaw gives a cogent, readable introduction to the issue. http://a.fsdn.com/sd/twitter_icon_large.png (http://twitter.com/home?status=Opposition+Mounts+To+Oracle's+Attempt+ To+Copyright+Java+APIs%3A+http%3A%2F%2Fbit.ly%2F16 zsUgs) http://a.fsdn.com/sd/facebook_icon_large.png (http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fyro.slashdot.org%2Fstory %2F13%2F06%2F01%2F1941256%2Fopposition-mounts-to-oracles-attempt-to-copyright-java-apis%3Futm_source%3Dslashdot%26utm_medium%3Dfacebo ok) http://www.gstatic.com/images/icons/gplus-16.png (http://plus.google.com/share?url=http://yro.slashdot.org/story/13/06/01/1941256/opposition-mounts-to-oracles-attempt-to-copyright-java-apis?utm_source=slashdot&utm_medium=googleplus)
