An anonymous reader writes "As promised, Mozilla today announced the release of Firefox OS Simulator 4.0 with a focus on developers who want to make money in the Firefox Marketplace. You can download the new version now for Windows, Mac, and Linux from Mozilla Add-Ons. First and foremost, the new simulator supports test receipts for paid apps: each app's dashboard features a drop-down menu where you can select a receipt type. Choosing one of these will have the simulator add-on downloading a test receipt from a Marketplace receipt service and reinstalling the app using it. This lets developers test receipt verification with whatever receipts types they may require (valid, invalid, and refunded)." http://a.fsdn.com/sd/twitter_icon_large.png (http://twitter.com/home?status=Mozilla+Launches+Firefox+OS+Simulator+ 4.0+With+Test+Receipts%3A+http%3A%2F%2Fbit.ly%2F1a eS9mg) http://a.fsdn.com/sd/facebook_icon_large.png (http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fmobile.slashdot.org%2Fst ory%2F13%2F07%2F11%2F2143224%2Fmozilla-launches-firefox-os-simulator-40-with-test-receipts%3Futm_source%3Dslashdot%26utm_medium%3Dfa cebook) http://www.gstatic.com/images/icons/gplus-16.png (http://plus.google.com/share?url=http://mobile.slashdot.org/story/13/07/11/2143224/mozilla-launches-firefox-os-simulator-40-with-test-receipts?utm_source=slashdot&utm_medium=googleplus)
