New submitter drsmack1 writes with news of some bummed out programmers losing access to an undocumented Google API. From the article: "The curious popularity of the Google Weather API appears to be coming to a close. The search giant never officially supported the feature, but developers have used the unofficial feed available from the iGoogle homepage. With iGoogle now set for deprecation in November, developers are reporting that the once simple weather API is no longer returning data."Seems like the sort of thing you could replace with a tiny bit of XSLT.http://a.fsdn.com/sd/twitter_icon_large.png (http://twitter.com/home?status=Google+Pulls+Access+To+Unsupported+But +Popular+Weather+API%3A+http%3A%2F%2Fbit.ly%2FSeYQ j5)http://a.fsdn.com/sd/facebook_icon_large.png (http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fdevelopers.slashdot.org% 2Fstory%2F12%2F09%2F03%2F2331203%2Fgoogle-pulls-access-to-unsupported-but-popular-weather-api%3Futm_source%3Dslashdot%26utm_medium%3Dfaceboo k)http://www.gstatic.com/images/icons/gplus-16.png (http://plus.google.com/share?url=http://developers.slashdot.org/story/12/09/03/2331203/google-pulls-access-to-unsupported-but-popular-weather-api?utm_source=slashdot&utm_medium=googleplus)
