Table background images
 

In IE, setting background images for tables doesn't seem to work... whereas in Firefox they do. Is there anyway around this? Current code: Code: --------- <span style='background:$colour'>

Well I am unclear as to what you're looking for so here are 2 solutions to the different variations of how I interperet your question.

1. You want an image across the whole background of the table.

2. You want it in one or a few cells only.

As a side note this is a basic step in any tutorial you should go over the one at w3schools.com to start off.
