Default Eight PHP IDEs Compared

snydeq writes "InfoWorld's Rick Grehen provides an in-depth comparative review of eight PHP IDEs: ActiveState's Komodo IDE, CodeLobster PHP Edition, Eclipse PHP Development Tools (PDT), MPSoftware's phpDesigner, NetBeans IDE for PHP, NuSphere's PhpED, WaterProof's PHPEdit, and Zend Studio. 'All of these PHP toolkits offer strong support for the other languages and environments (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL database) that a PHP developer encounters. The key differences we discovered were in the tools they provide (HTML inspector, SQL management system) for various tasks, the quality of their documentation, and general ease-of-use,' Grehen writes.'"pa href="http://developers.slashdot.org/story/10/02/03/1519232/Eight-PHP-IDEs-Compared?from=rss"img src="http://developers.slashdot.org/slashdot-it.pl?from=rssamp;op=imageamp;style=h0amp;sid=10/02/03/1519232"/a/ppa href="http://developers.slashdot.org/story/10/02/03/1519232/Eight-PHP-IDEs-Compared?from=rss"Read more of this story/a at Slashdot./p pa href="http://feedads.g.doubleclick.net/~at/wNRajWo8ywP4PDZF475pTi0tKqc/0/da"img src="http://feedads.g.doubleclick.net/~at/wNRajWo8ywP4PDZF475pTi0tKqc/0/di" border="0" ismap="true"/img/abr/ a href="http://feedads.g.doubleclick.net/~at/wNRajWo8ywP4PDZF475pTi0tKqc/1/da"img src="http://feedads.g.doubleclick.net/~at/wNRajWo8ywP4PDZF475pTi0tKqc/1/di" border="0" ismap="true"/img/a/pimg src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/Slashdot/slashdotDevelopers/~4/weY96upCScI" height="1" width="1"/
