Default TI Calculator DRM Defeated

josath writes "Texas Instruments' flagship calculator, the Nspire, was hacked to allow user-written programs earlier this year. Earlier this month, TI released an update to the OS that runs on the calculator, providing no new features, but only blocking the previous hack. Now, just a few weeks later, Nleash has been released, which defeats this protection. The battle rages on as users fight for the right to run their own software on their own hardware."pa href="http://www.facebook.com/sharer.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fhardware.slashdot.org%2F story%2F10%2F07%2F31%2F1314222%2FTI-Calculator-DRM-Defeated" target="_blank" title="Share on Facebook"img src="http://a.fsdn.com/sd/facebook_icon_large.png"/a a href="http://twitter.com/home?status=TI+Calculator+DRM+Defeated%3A+http%3A% 2F%2Fbit.ly%2Fb7bHJf" target="_blank" title="Share on Twitter"img src="http://a.fsdn.com/sd/twitter_icon_large.png"/a/ppa href="http://hardware.slashdot.org/story/10/07/31/1314222/TI-Calculator-DRM-Defeated?from=rss"Read more of this story/a at Slashdot./ppa href="http://feedads.g.doubleclick.net/~at/Fe7yNns4oKJkWxDcHzGZ2Iw5bwo/0/da"img src="http://feedads.g.doubleclick.net/~at/Fe7yNns4oKJkWxDcHzGZ2Iw5bwo/0/di" border="0" ismap="true"/img/abr/a href="http://feedads.g.doubleclick.net/~at/Fe7yNns4oKJkWxDcHzGZ2Iw5bwo/1/da"img src="http://feedads.g.doubleclick.net/~at/Fe7yNns4oKJkWxDcHzGZ2Iw5bwo/1/di" border="0" ismap="true"/img/a/pimg src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/Slashdot/slashdotDevelopers/~4/7OknCKYW4Ek" height="1" width="1"/
