Default trying to get an image to stick to the top right of the browser

Hi everyone, I am trying to get an image to stick to the top right of the browser - i.e. 10 px from the right, 0 from the top, but i cannot work out how to do this as it overlaps a div. I want it to ignore everything around it and only be part of the top of my website - so if a user scrolls down it...

Default

Why not change it so the div starts a bit lower? My columns don't start until like 23% of the way down the page so that I didn't even need to create a banner area... if you want it to scroll with I'm unsure exactly how, best off having it put into the background itself that's an easy way to get it to stay with.
