I am not happy with the look of this menu. Any advice on making it look prettier and more in keeping with the site?

travelfrog,

You might want to get rid of the extra padding in your submenus (looks like they have a double border).

Maybe set the border and padding to 0 px for your menu styles?

Just a thought.

Also, noticed that the colors in your menu don't match the other colors in your site? Links not green etc. Might want to play with that a little.

Smile Prettier menu

Since it's a navigational element, I think it needs to stand out more... possibly making it a green background with white text like the top nav. Use the slightly rounded corners and a bit of white padding between each.

The arrow does not match the current branding either. You'd be better off using an arrow that is filled in like a triangle...

Another angle might be to match the graphical treatment of the menu in the same column, but underneath Site Partners...

hope this helps
